Guardian Angel

Guardian angel is a program that will connect a mentee to a mentor, where young aspiring and creative filmmakers will have the opportunity to access skilled and established filmmakers and get first hand knowledge on how to grow their career in the film industry.

The AFC will ensure a productive mentorship relationship depending on the skills of each mentee(Protege) and the mentor.

Eligible Candidate between the age of 16 to 30 years can apply.

Send a short proposal giving a brief history of your "Journey so far" in the film industry. include your Age, Country of residence, Phone number and email to mentorship@theafricanfilmconsortium.org .

Successful Applicants will be contacted on the 1st of September, 2017.









AFRICA ONE

As part of our support for the sustainable development goals; and helping to make Africa a peaceful continent, In July 2017, we plan to launch the Africa one project, an advocacy driven campaign against

  • Hiv/Aids
  • Inequality
  • Domestic Violence
  • Injustice
  • Climate change

We will support Documentary|Short film projects with $2,000 each.

AFC's Africa one project will also support projects that promote cultural diplomacy and peace in Africa.

Online Film School

The AFC online film school is designed for the filmmakers in Africa who cannot afford luxury of a regular film school and ffers students the benefits of learning several courses in the business of film.

They will explore customised courses in screen-writing, product design,cinematography,editing,production management to producing and directing.

There will be access to tutorials,universities, fillmakers and film sets, to enhance the knowledge and understanding of film.
